The future of the UK’s economy continuously relies on the successful education and training of the next generation of scientists, engineers and technicians, and this can only truly be achieved with close support from industry and businesses. It’s something I have believed in passionately throughout my career and I’ve been keen to make sure that M A M Solutions can play its part as well. From the initiation of the Additive Anglia concept last year, to now becoming a STEM Ambassador, supporting the education sector is one of the core elements of the companies reason to exist.
In the manufacturing sector M A M Solutions helps by identifying the skills gaps and training needs of businesses that are seeking to integrate additive manufacturing. So by becoming a STEM Ambassador it will enable me to identify the opportunities for students of STEM subjects to move into careers that could help to plug those gaps.
Any schools and colleges in the Cambridgeshire, or the immediately adjacent regions of Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex can contact me to discuss how M A M Solutions can support their STEM programmes.
